This year is the tipping point for mobile and interactive digital signage. dZine, a Barco company, showed visitors at ISE how they can interact themselves with the content and become part of the experience. The displays, LED’s and projections engage people via smartphones to interact with the screens, engage through social media, get rewarded with mobile coupons and stay connected with the advertiser or messenger.

dZine showed new hardware such as its Linux based DISplayer³ eco series. The new media players combine high performance with minimal power consumption. They are part of one integrated solution to create, distribute and visualize content. dZine showed of a set of smartphone applications that interact in real-time with the content on the the dZine and Barco screens. At the same time the innovation lab demonstrated gesture detection as an interface to browse the carousel on the display.
