The Microsoft Exchange plugin
extracts calendar data from an Exchange Server via OWA (Outlook Web Access).
By means of this plugin tool, calendars of Exchange users can be downloaded.
Certain specific data out of these calendars
like account name, subject, date, duration, priority, location, description, attachment, status and the reminder offset,
can be retrieved. For each calendar of
interest, you need to specify the user credentials
(user name and password) along
with a URL to the user’s inbox.
So you will get a nice overview of the information
you need. Filtering on users, appointments,…
is possible to narrow down
the collected appointments by specifying
a range of dates to extract.
The Microsoft Exchange plugin supports
MySQL databases as well as Microsoft
Access.
Also, Microsoft Exchange plugin supports refreshing the extracted data by allowing the user to enter a recurrence interval
for each mailbox. At the specified time intervals, the calendar data is downloaded and stored in the database of your
choice.
